One of the most frequently asked questions we get from guests before their trip is "Can you recommend some good places to eat?" I kind of chuckle to myself when I get these, because about 15 texts/messages/emails later, I'm asking them if they want me to keep going! A link was posted on a Facebook page last week that was titled 12 Great Restaurants on Anna Maria Island. The very first comment was "What's missing?" and the ensuing 50 comments went on to list no less than 25 additional recommendations.
The food on the island is without question one of our favorite parts of vacationing here! Almost every one is independently owned and there is a wonderful variety of choices, atmospheres and pricing. You can be on the beach, you can have live music, you can have fresh seafood, you can have greasy spoon burgers, you can have fancy, you can have laid back.
We are always happy to recommend places that we enjoy, but my best recommendation - EXPLORE! After all, discovering great new restaurants is one of the fun parts of any vacation ;)
