FAQ

Q: Is the pool heated?

A: Yes!  Not only is it heated, it's cooled during the warm summer months.  Having both allows us to make sure you’ve got a great pool to enjoy whenever you are here!

 

Q: Do you allow pets?

A: We allow one small pet for an additional fee.  We just ask that pets and their humans be respectful of all others at the resort.  If you would like additional information or have questions, you can email us anytime at rentals@mihappyplaceami.com

 

Q:  How much is the Damage deposit?

A: Our default option for damage is to purchase a Damage Waiver policy as part of the booking process.  Any guest may alternately choose to pay a refundable Security Deposit that may be refunded within two weeks after their stay.  Details are provided when completing the Booking Form.

 

Q: How can I check availability or rates?

A:  You can easily check availability and rates by clicking the link on our Home Page for each unit.  All four units offer the same layout, so don’t forget to check others if the one you’re checking is not available!

 

Q:  What is the minimum age to book a stay at the MI Happy Place Island Resort?

A: Our policy is that a minimum age of 21 is required to sign the booking form and be the Responsible Party to comply with the contractual requirements.  Anyone age 18 or over may check-in, but the Responsible Party assumes the responsibility for the reservation.

 

Q: Do you accept credit cards for booking?

A:  We do accept credit cards. There is a 3% service fee for this option.

 

Q: How can I make a reservation?

A: The preferred method is to use the Rates/Availability links and book via our Property Management partner – Island Vacation Properties.  You can also find our resort at all major booking sites (VRBO, AirBnB, Booking.com, etc.).  If you need additional help, we can assist in booking ourselves – just contact us directly.

 

Q: How can I leave a review or feedback?

A: We love all kinds of feedback!  If you have a concern or problem, please contact us or Island Vacations directly and allow us to address your issue.  If you’d like to leave us a review, that can be done via any of the listing sites or our Facebook page.
